Storm Surge Downtown Mobile, AL

When Hurricane Nate slammed into Mobile, the storm surge created problems for many downtown businesses, including this restaurant. By the time the employees entered the restaurant to assess the damage, the water had receded leaving behind a wet mess on the floor.  They called us out the morning following the storm and we quickly extracted the remaining water and set up dehumidifiers and air movers.  If you look closely at the picture, you can still see the remnants of sand after the water was extracted.  Once the floors were completely dry, the sand was easily removed.  We had them up and running the very next day. We at SERVPRO of Mobile County made it, "Like it never even happened."
