COVID-19 Cleaning Myths

As cases begin to rise once again, we have many companies that are capitalizing on COVID-19 Cleanup.  Many of these companies are newcomers to the specialized cleaning industry and often have never handled biohazard cleanup.  There are many that are offering "fogging only" cleaning services.  Fogging only does not adhere to the CDC protocol for COVID-19 disinfection.  According to CDC guidelines, all high touch surfaces should be thoroughly wiped down with an EPA approved disinfectant prior to fogging applications.  At SERVPRO of Mobile County, we are highly trained an IICRC Certified in the cleanup of biohazard pathogens.  We have the experience and the resources to make sure the job gets done right!
